Colours (haiku)
Tints and shades
regenerate the
universe.
Springtime Treasures (cinquain)
Peering
out the window
hearing, praying, sleeping
to the teatime hymn of goldfinch
birds.
Tulips (haiku)
Fairies fall asleep
In the caves of oasis;
Don’t wake or scare them!
Chrysanthemum (cinquain)
Bright pink
Blossoms that pose
Like models and statues
Outside in the rainbow garden
Today.
Starfish (haiku)
Living ocean stars.
They crawl on little pebbles,
and sleep on white sand.
